The Day We Married- Today is a special day for my husband and I. On December 21,1990 were were married at City Hall in New York City. It was a Civil Ceremony. I have to admit it was sooo quick! A judge said a few words and next thing I knew we were hitched..lol It was a rainy day,but it was a magical day. My husband and I met in a place one would never really think of meeting the love of your life. We met at a laundromat. I won't go into details, but I will say that we were both in relationships that we were not happy to be in. Steve won my heart very quickly. He is everything I could have wished for. He is romantic, funny, caring, sensitive and truly my best friend. Our actual wedding was in June of 1991. You'll have to wait to see the pictures of my faritytale wedding next year! But for now here is a pic of the happiest day of my life. Boy do we look 80's or what? Poofy hair? ...lol .......Happy Anniversary Steve Bride & Groom I love you.....xo

Hi Everyone! Hope you are enjoying your holiday shopping! Just wanted to pop back and let you see the wreath I turned from plain to something pretty!!

I started by spray painting the wreath silver and pink. I then added pink ornaments and a pink shiny bow at the top. I also had two vintage dolls that looked like they were lonely, so I also placed them on the wreath as a symbolic touch. The meaning of Christmas is special for kids, so why not add them to symbolize Christmas? Stay tuned for future projects!

Congratulations to our December Pets of the Month! Here are pictures of these fun loving cuties! Our Doggies of the Month are:

Here StockingComes PresentSantaChristmas Tree 2 Claus! Santa's Cookies

Is it me or has this year flown by? Only a month ago there I was carving out pumpkins with my kids and now here I am putting up the Christmas Tree! First I would like to wish each and every one of you the happiest of Holidays! Shopping for presents can be so tiring. So this is why I recommend that you shop online. Ladies and Gentlemen please take a trip to Make Mine Pink. www.makeminepink.com You will find beautiful boutiques each individually owned and each one has the most beautiful products you will just die for! The men can find gifts for their sisters, mothers ,wives, daughters or good friends.

New York is where I grew up and to me there is no place like the Big Apple when it comes to truly enjoying the Holidays. I used to love going to Radio City Music Hall and see those amazing Rockettes or the ice skating rink at Rockefeller Center, the lighting of the huge Christmas Tree and who could forget shopping on 34th Street! What a blessing! Just take a look at these pictures!

I do miss good old New York, but I do also enjoy it here in Florida. Here is a picture of what the Palm trees look like once they are decorated:

This is my Christmas work in progess- wait until you see the end result!

Merry Christmas from Janet's Creative Pillow's family to yours and all the best wishes for the holiday season. Stay tuned for the New Year!
